Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis
The National Eucharistic Congress is an event that brings together Church leaders and Catholics from every corner of the United States to worship Jesus present in the Eucharist, be transformed, and go forth in mission to their families and communities. You can attend the whole 5 day event, or come for a single day. If you are a parishioner at a Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, there is a discount code you can use for registration. Contact your parish to receive the code, and have your parish leaders reach out to the Archdiocese if they have any questions.
Families at the Congress
Families are invited to experience the National Eucharistic Congress together. There is a discount for parents attending with their children or teens. Children under 12 register for free! A separate Youth track is available for teens. The family track will be in a self-contained space to limit the amount of walking families will have to do wiht little ones in tow. There will be access to elevators, restrooms, food, private areas for nursing mothers, and quiet spaces for children with sensory needs or who need a nap. The sessions will be interactive and appeal to all ages, with plenty of opportunities for fun, prayer, and growth as a family. More information and FAQ's will become available. In the meantime, check out the schedule of events to see some of the Family Track Speakers. If you have questions or suggestions for the family track, please contact Gabriela Ross, Director of Marriage and Family Life for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
Eucharistic Procession Pilgrimages
There are four Eucharistic Procession pilgrimages traveling to Indianapolis for the Congress. You can join one of the pilgrimage routes for all or part of their journey. There will be a pilgrimage going through southern Indiana from Louisville and other routes near you. Check out the map to learn how you can plug in to the Eucharistic Pilgrimage experience.
Become a Prayer Partner
Join in prayer, fasting and penance for the Eucharistic Revival. Lift up renewal in your family and local Church, event organizers, and all the pilgrims who will make their way to Indianapolis.
Revival at Your Parish
Every parish is invited to participate locally in the Eucharistic Revival. The focus of parish efforts are centered around a renwal of worship, a personal encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist, robust faith formation, and being missionaries to our communities by inviting back those who have fallen way from the Church, or have stopped going to Mass. There are many resources available to help with these four areas of renewal. Every parish is encouraged to have a "point person" who can be trained as a leader and champion Eucharistic Renewal at each parish.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
in you we contemplate
the splendor of true love;
to you we turn with trust.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
grant that our families too
may be places of communion and prayer,
authentic schools of the Gospel
and small domestic churches.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
may families never again experience
violence, rejection and division;
may all who have been hurt or scandalized
find ready comfort and healing.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
make us once more mindful
of the sacredness and inviolability of the family,
and its beauty in God’s plan.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
graciously hear our prayer.
Amen.
