“On the third day, there was a wedding in Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding.” (John 2:1-2)
The Pre-Cana Retreat features presentations from married couples and subject-matter experts who instruct engaged couples on the theology of marriage, the Catholic Church’s teachings on human sexuality, and the practical life skills and virtues necessary to fortify their marriage. By engaging in these topics, couples will have a greater understanding of the Church’s teachings, and how living out God’s plan is the key to a joy-filled marriage.

What if these dates don't work for us? There are two other in-person retreat options offered in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. Check out the Tobit and One in Christ Retreats to see if they are a good fit.

Is there an online retreat option? Couples preparing for marriage are expected to attend an in-person retreat. If there are significant hardships to participating in-person, such as, a bride or groom who is deployed in the armed forces, lives out of the country and is unable to travel, or a couple that must drive a significant distance and make overnight accommodations to attend a live retreat, then an online retreat may be the next best option to ensure that couples still receive the formation they need for their Sacrament of Marriage.
